You awaken in the middle of the night to the sound of your phone ringing. You pick it up.
Who else would it be but David Tennant.
David Tennant in “Playhouse Presents: The Minor Character.” Goddamn do I love seeing people’s whiskey grimace.

One day, Clara looks for a man called the Doctor, a man who once had her father’s face, a man with a blue box that travels the universe the same way she can. Because Clara’s mother was Rose Tyler, the Bad Wolf, and she can scatter herself through time and space, as her mother scattered those two words.
I thought we’d been getting progressively whimsical with the interior of the TARDIS. And I started to think, ‘Well, why is that? It’s not a magical place. It’s actually a machine.
Steven Moffat on the New Tardis (via doctor-who-companion)
A living machine that’s bigger on the inside and has a heart connected to time and….no, not magic at all.
SIDE EYEING YOU SO HARD MOFFAT
You know, there are definitely times when I just don’t think Moffat GETS the basic idea of Doctor Who. Like, above and beyond his character (and plot) writing problems, it’s like he doesn’t understand the fundamental concept. It’s not a hard sci-fi show, dude. You aren’t going to need thrusters and dilithium crystals. It’s a freaking fairy tale with a sci-fi twist.
