You know, there are definitely times when I just don’t think Moffat GETS the basic idea of Doctor Who. Like, above and beyond his character (and plot) writing problems, it’s like he doesn’t understand the fundamental concept. It’s not a hard sci-fi show, dude. You aren’t going to need thrusters and dilithium crystals. It’s a freaking fairy tale with a sci-fi twist.
